ABOUT ME
Jonathan Lolley is an NYC-based vocalist known for his timeless blend of Latin traditional music and the classic sound of the American songbook.
With his soulful voice in a serenade style, Lolley leads audiences on a cultural odyssey blending the romantic essence of the Americas from the 1950s and 1960s, signing Latin American composers such as Armando Manzanero or Alvaro Carrillo to Cole Porter or even Broadway classics.
Lolley studied Performing Arts and Music at the New World School of the Arts, Miami. He discovered the Art of Bolero and its vast repertoire from Mexico, Cuba, and Puerto Rico in this city. However, he proclaims himself a lover of Mexican Guitars since he encountered this music as a child in Disney Parks. Since then, he has captivated and performed in Spanish and English.
His music, produced in collaboration with respected Latin American virtuoso musicians, reflects the rich cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue between the US and the rest of the Americas over time.
